Very ancient temple near Nagercoil. You can visit this place while visiting Kanyakumari from Kerala. It's in-between kerala and tamilnadu. The structure of the temple is like other South Indian temple, but the work and it's detailing is mind-blowing. You have to remove your shirt while entering into the temple.

One must seek the historic and mythological importance from the local guides. Otherwise it seems like ordinary temple. The musical pillars, instrumental pillars are just amazing.. Rich sculptural heritage exists here... Originality is retained.. Must visit temples of Tamilnadu.

Suchindram Shree Thanumalayan Swamy Temple Very ancient temple near Nagercoil, Kanyakumari. You can visit this place while visiting Kanyakumari. Main temple probably 2300 years old. Suchindram temple is dedicated to three different deities represented by one image in the sanctum and is called Sthanumalayan (Sthanu-Shiva; Maal-Vishnu and Ayan-Brahma) kovil. The temple is rich in sculpture and architecture and a visitor to this temple is amply rewarded with the sight of such exquisite art of hundreds of years old. One biggest mistake temple authors do their printed for rock structures. Easy dharshan without complications of queue there.
Best time to visit - during early morning hours - Temple timing -Morning 4.30 am to 11.30 am.Evening 5.00 pm to 8.30 pm. Entry fees is 40 Rs and could park vehicles nearby the temple. otherwise traffic is going to be a problem..!

It's amazing view which a person can enjoy. The architectural beauty is also mind-boggling. But the tradition of the temple is you have to remove your shirt before entering into the day temple. I don't know what's the actual reason but it's their tradition

Beautiful temple which is spread over 5 acres. If you are visiting from elsewhere take a tour from a local. We were fortunate enough to have a guided tour from one of the priests over there.

The Dancing Hallway, Musical Pillars with beats and also different musical instrument pillars are my favourites in the temple.

Ideology, Philosophy and Architecture are mesmerizing. One of the best temples i visited on my trip.

This temple mainly belongs to Bhrama Vishnu and Shankar.
Huge murti of Shri Hanuman ji also attracts you .

One of the best temples I have ever visited.. musical pillars were unbelievable and several single piece stone statues with great history are architectural masterpieces. Should be a historical heritage and a must visit place of South India for all age groups.
