Shri Pachaiamman Temple

A peaceful place in a beautiful location. Full of old world charm . The huge , colourful Ayyanar figures are a feast to the eyes.

Very ancient and our family deity.. Visiting this place gives a peaceful mind and we get a feeling as if visiting our ancestors..

Now they have developed this temple with facilities. Who ever visits Tiruvannamalai can experience this temple at least once. WE drive to this temple first and then the other temples in the neighborhoods.

Preferrable on a cloudy day or a pleasant day.. This is bit or more hot may be because it's surrounded by mountains.. overall a peaceful experience..

Really really you should be blessed to visit this temple. With the blessings of the goddess able to visit today. You can feel the positive energy waves on entering the temple. Big status and animals accepting sacrificing themself to God, then temple atmosphere the goddess inside the temple and so many ideals inside the temple makes everything imagine your that your wishes are going to come true. Must visit place in Tiruvannamalai mostly local people knows this temple.

This is an ancient temple where amma parvathi came here from Kanchi to do meditation for shiva, when she was here all nature turns into Green color including amma, so this amma call as Pachaiamman (Amma in Green color). This is beautiful and peaceful place. There is tree where Ramana Maharshi stayed with his followers under that tree when there was a plague in tiruvannamalai.

Fixing job is in progress, architecture and statues are pretty different than usual, it has real flavour of Tamilnadu......

Very very powerful temple. Must buy green coloured kunkum (only in this place you can found such type) and give it to priest for archan, after that you take that box . This kunkum is for soubhagyam.

Currently under renovation but darshan is continuing and really pleasure to visit, inside temple also renovation required
