One of the most finest art and architecture carving of gods and goddess all over the temple area starting from the entrance gate.. I felt the peace and purity stepping inside the temple.. one must visit this beautiful temple of south india😍

Its is one of the oldest temples in India.The temple is at the center of the ancient temple city of Madurai.The shrines of Meenakshi temple are embedded inside three walled enclosures and each of these have four gateways.There is a Thousand Pillar Hall which contains 985 carved pillars made of stone. History is preserved every were in the temple.

One of the must visit temple’s of India.You can add it to 1000 things you do before you die. Be careful with your dress code while visiting it . No Mobile phones 📵, no camera 📷 or other such devices are allowed.All of my photos I share here are taken from outside the temple, so don’t get carried away with these.It’s much more nicer inside. And don’t miss the thousand pillars mandapam. Non Hindus can visit for the nice ambiance & animation in and around the temple, though they are not allowed to go the main worship area.

It's just an art of beauti, no word to express it architecture, it also has shelter for cows, and they give prasad in form of ladu, those are just amazing laddus... A must visit place, it has three gods inside do visit... But the Madurai railway station is absolutely worse God, it's the worst station no proper amenities evething is just absolute pathetic, don't even have proper bathrooms...

Although no phones are allowed, best time to visit this temple is during mahashivratri.
The scriptures at the temple are amazing to glare at.
