KURUKU DURAI MURUGAN KOVIL

What a temple and what an architecture inside the river. It was build more than a century ago and build inside the thamirabharani river.. It faced lot of flood and no damages to the temple. It has a ship based architecture in front of the temple to divide the water and not to affect the temple. Vaigasi visagam, avaani month ther thiruvizha, panguni uthiram are special here. The lord murugan looks very charming and you will mesmerized when you see his face. Those who born in meena lagnam or meena raasi they should visit once in a life time.

Nice temple it's a great and small temple in Tirunelveli district (near arulmigu nelliyappar and gandhimathi temple) this kurukkudurai Murugan temple is located near TAMIRABARANI PUNITHA RIVER this is one of the great milestone of this temple.there also available rental rooms near by temple.
And lord Muruga is great looking and giving more than more happyness to our live.

Place looks cherishing... Passage will good to bath with nativity... But has more rocks.. need to be careful while bathing.. take local people help for safe cause way if u wanna bath.... Good place with Lord Murugan temple.

Murugan temple located in very a good location. On the shore of thamirabarani river. Great and divine place located near nellaiyappar temple. Nearly 2km from nellaiyappar temple, walkable too.
