This is hindu temple , it is really beautiful place, best place to get peace of mind. By going to a very wonderful place, the mind will surely be calm, cleanliness has been taken care of. The people around there are also very good. The people around are very nice. River thamarabarani is running near the temple, just a walkable distance from the temple, so you can have bath and get dharshan of the lord venkatachalapathy. The Prasadam tastes a lot, you can’t stop asking for more. A must place to visit, it’s called “Then Thirupathi”. People who couldn’t go to Tirumala they can come here and get the blessings.

Known by the name 'Then tirupati'— Tirupati of South, this ancient beauty stands tall in Mela thiruvengadanathapuram, 20 kms from Tirunelveli. The main deity, Lord Vishnu resembles Tirupati Venkatachalapathy. This temple has seperate sanidhanams for Sridevi and Boodevi. Tulabaram is famous here. Lord Vishnu preached tulsi with pure bhakti weighs more than any other luxury goods.

There are few steps to reach the temple. Men are not allowed to wear shirt or vest inside the temple. Totally a great spiritual experience for the devotees. The road to reach here is so narrow.

This new year started with visit to Thiruvengadanadhapuram temple in Tirunelveli. Also called as Then Tirupathi. The road to the temple is pleasant to watch with full of rice fields on the either side and the river Thamirabharani flowing. There was no much rush in the temple. , we went by car and i am not sure of the bus route.

like Tirumala, this temple's moolavar is built with 7 levels. nicely maintained and clean; worth visiting while in Tirunelveli. This place can be reached on the Papanasam route. From here, DO VISIT the Raghu Stalam Nava Kailayam temple (Shri Kodha Paremeshwarer / Shri Sivagami Ambal - Also know as Then Kalahasti - just 2-3 KM from Perumal Koil)
