Sri Durga Peeli Amman Temple

Very nice, silent place for worship goddess Durga. During Dussehra ( Durga puja) and some other time of the year some annual festivals are celebrated here. This is a place for different cultural program also.

Located inside the I.I.T campus, this is a beautiful temple of a powerful deity.. Sri Durga Peeliamman. 48 days Mandala pooja is now on after the Maha kumbabisekam performed last week.

This temple is located inside IIT Madras campus. The place is serene and peaceful. There are functions during Navaratri festival. The goddess has a yellow coloured face. Therefore the name peeli Amman. A must visit for every person on campus.

I love this place. If you were not before here then I would suggest you to come at night to feel the calmness and tranquility of this place. I would like to come here often whenever I will get time. You will never going to forget the nostalgic moment you will be spending here. This place is surrounded by dense trees and shrubs. You will get the rhythm of flow of air.
