Sengunthar Siva Subramania Swamy Temple

Famous lord muruga temple in the town,usually crowded during Thai poosam(january) and car pulling festival.This temple is surrounded by some small temples too.This temple has all god shrines (inside)and pond too.Nice and quite place to visit with family and friends.

It was closed when we went there but walkable distance from the bus stand.

Main God is Lord Muruga and lord Nataraja, Perumal also has individual shrine. Thai poosam, Aani Thitumanjanam, Shasti and Aarudra are known and much celebrated festivals by localite tribes.

Really a wonderful temple. All facilities are available here... Clean and neat... Marriage functions are conducting here. It is very good place for mediation and yoga.... Lot of people like this temple in our hometown and neighbor cities too love it lot

One of the most famous and historical temple in Dharmapuri. Main God is Lord Siva Subramanya with Godesses Lord Valli and Lord Deivanai. It is famous for its 'Car Festival' during the Tamil month Thai (January or February) during full moon day. Other famous functions are 'Ponguni Uthiram', 'Sashti Viratham' and etc. There is a small tank (theppa kulam) in the entrance of temple.
The temple is not visible from main road. The temple road is very narrow and during festival time more congested.

Easy to reach from bus stand. Very nice temple.
