Arulmigu Sri Sundararaja Perumal Temple

Sri Sundarraja Perumal temple resembles like Madurai Azhagar temple.The temple has Sowmyanarayana perumal and Sundarraja perumal sannadhis. Sundarrraja perumal blesses all with Sridevi and Bhoomadevi in standing position. The temple has been recently renovated.The temple has chakrathavazhvar/narasimhar, anjaneyar sannadhis. Please dont forget to see the excellent Garudazhwar and Padhinettampadiyan Sannadhis.

Temple speciality:
The sanctum sanctorum is aesthetically formed in a round shape with the divine serpent Aadisesha on the lotus petals. Sri Perumal graces on Aadisesha with His consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi. Lord appears as if a king readying for a hunting with His crown and wearing ornaments in legs, hip and chest. He carries the weapons necessary for the sport.The temple was built by Sivaganga Zamin Sundara Pandian in 17th century. He was a staunch devotee of Azhagarkoil and Tirukoshtiyur Lords-Perumals. He wanted to integrate the Pancharatra and Vaikanasa Agamas and conduct the pujas in the temple accordingly.

Best temple

Its a super and peaceful place in Sivagangai, this temple's main god shri vishnu. He is calling in the name of Sundararaja Perumal. Hanuman, Garudalvar, Anjaneyar, Chakarathalvar, Yoga Narasimmar and Shridevi Bhoodevi sametha Sundararaja moorthy swamy is in this temple. Its located in higher level steps with mountain center of the city.
