Nirudhi Lingam is the fourth of the Ashtalingas in the Arunachala Pradhakshina path and it represents the south west direction. This place is highly populated with many sadhus compared to the other ones (don't know why) and also you can sit for meditation or just be at peace since it's just a little away from the road and looks very serene and calm.

It's the 4th linga of all the 8 lingas in thiruvanamali/annamalai/arunachalam. The temple name was came from a local king son's name because of there devotional way towards lord Shiva. By worshipping nirudhi linga helps us with a good health, wealth and fame.

Peaceful atmosphere. You can find peacocks around the temple premises. There is also a lotus pond beside temple.

Niruthi lingam in Thiruvannamalai is the fourth of the eight Lingams (Ashta Lingams) which one encounters during Girivalam in Thiruvannamalai. This lingam is also known as Nirudhi lingam. The Niruthi Lingam has South West as its direction. This is the fourth lingam, while we see the peak of the holy hill Arunachala, it views accompanying of two parts of mountain and shows 'Sivan' and ’Sakthi’ together.
