Neatly maintained temple. The goddess name is Arulmigu Ennai Petra Thayar (meaning - mother who gave birth to me). She is like mother who cares and saves us. The name signifies so much of care.
Andal, Adhiseshan sannadhis were very beautiful.
In Each Sannidhi they have written a board on some pariharam (solution) for each problem we face in life.
Its a very peaceful temple. Probabky i visited in a non festival time and working day. A must see temple

Visited the temple located at Thirunindravur in the Tamil month of Puratasi on the 4th Saturday 2022. We could get the Bakthavatchala perumal dharisanam in the afternoon only after getting stuck in quite a crowd of people. The temple admin must have organised the dharisanam queues in much better way than the bad experience we've gone through. Annadhanam offered in the temple was really good. Outsiders food offering was also really nice and a timely relief for those couldn't bear the lengthy queue.

Awestruck on seeing this temple from outside, Mezmerized on entering inside. The cows and calves welcome the devotees. The presiding diety Lord vishnu blesses here as bakthavatchala perumal and his consort goddess lakshmi as என்ன petra thayar. Was blessed to have very close Darshan at the sanctum sanctorum. The priests are so kind enough to explain the history and beauty of this serene temple. This temple is 58th of the total 108 divya desham. The stone pillars, inscriptions talk a lot about the beauty and history of this temple.

Sri Bakthavatsala Perumal temple is a Hindu temple, located at Thirunindravur, a western suburb of Chennai, India, is dedicated to the Hindu deity Vishnu. Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Azhwar saints from the 6th–9th centuries CE. It is one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Bhaktavatsala Perumal and his consort Lakshmi as Ennai Petra Thayar.

The temple is believed to have been built by the Pallavas of the late 8th century CE, with later contributions from Medieval Cholas and Vijayanagar kings. A granite wall surrounds the temple, enclosing all the shrines and two bodies of water. There is a four-tiered rajagopuram, the temple's gateway tower, in the temple.
Bhatavatsala Perumal is believed to have appeared to Kubera. Six daily rituals and three yearly festivals are held at the temple, of which the Krishna Janmasthami festival, celebrated during the Tamil month of Aavani (August–September), being the most prominent. The temple is maintained and administered by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The temple was built during the Pallava period of 9th century as seen from the various inscriptions in the temple. The earliest inscriptions of the temple is dated between 820 and 890 CE during the period of Nripatungavarman. There are inscriptions from the later Chola kings like Rajendra Chola II (1051–1063 CE), Virarajendra Chola (1063–1070 CE) and Rajaraja Chola II (1146–1173 CE). The Pallava inscriptions mention this place as Ninravur and some of them quote it asVirudhurajabhayankar-chaturvertimangalam, a sub-division of Punarkottam.

This is moderate size Temple. There is ample parking for two wheelers and cars (on the road side)

Moolavar (Deity) is very attractive.

Direct opposite to this Temple, there is a Anjaneyar Temple.

Very near by (walkable distance) there is Hridayaleeswarar Shiva Temple and Sri Ramar Temple. Sri Ramar is very beautiful.

There is Ramanuja Kootam adjacent to the Temple (first floor). During the lunch time, you will get excellent prasadam. If you get a chance try the Prasad and make your contribution to the kainkaryam.
