Thiruthaleeswarar temple located at Aranvoyal can be reached from Chennai Tiruvallur Tirupathi highway. Look out for the Kingfisher Beer factory after crossing Thirumazhisai. Just after the factory there's a road cross with the right turn going to Thiruvur and the left going to Aranvoyal village and the several housing layouts existing there. The temple is just a kilometre from the high road.

The beautiful Shiva temple is an ancient temple with several sculptured pillars. Thiruthaleeswarar temple is well maintained and very clean. The priest of the temple explains the history and the mythical information nicely to all the visitors. East of the temple is a lotus tank.
Aranvoyal had a perumal temple too but not anymore. The survived perumal statue is now shrined in the Siva temple itself.
Pooja items are to be brought as no shops are nearby. Parking place is available in front of the temple.

Altogether a different Sivan temple. So many unknown useful information is attached to this temple. The Gurukkal is having tremendous knowledge and information about this temple. Really astonishing. It is dates back to 8th century period. Cambodians have also contributed to this temple. It is worth visiting this temple.
