Lord murugan temple was newly builted and the kumbabhisekam was done in March 2015. Lord balamurugan is the main god of this temple. Amman temple and nine planet also being in this temple. This is the only separate temple for lord murugan in this area.

Balamurugan temple is very divine and calm place to visit. It is located at 3rd block of Mugappair west. Daily pooja are done here. Special poojas during auspicious days like krithigai and new years. They also do sathyanarayana pooja in which you can see most people in that locality participating. Navagrahas is also inside the temple. During ordinary days, people can watch lord muruga very closely as they allow inside the karpagraham. But that would not be possible during very crowded days. Inside that temple, we can see arupadai veedu of lord muruga in an art form near to the ceiling. Amman temple is also located inside this temple.
