Karni Mata Temple

Great spiritual experience. During Navratri, one can go walking from Forest Gate side or trek from Kishan Kund side via Dhauli Chhatri, Ganesh Pole and Shri Chakradhari Hanumanji Temple. At other times, you have to take ticket from Forest Gate and also, walking is not allowed.

Serene temple in lap of Aravali mountains on the way to Bala Quila. Very nice for people who are fitness freak, since it involves stair trekking as well.

The Alwar’s Karni Mata Temple is purely dedicated to the fierceness of Goddess Kali and the poised Goddess Durga, reincarnated in the form of Karni Mata. This is a very good temple of Karni Mata Ji. It has around 108 steps in the downward direction. It also has many small temples inside it such as Shiv Ji temple, Hanuman Ji temple, etc. It is the only temple in which I found the complete family of Shiv Ji including all of their vehicles (animals). This gives very positive vibes and satisfies the soul.

The Temple is open for visitors from 5:00 AM till 07:00 PM. Upon visiting the temple in the morning, you will get to witness the glory of the passionate Mangala Aarti dedicated to the Goddess, followed by Bhog.

The easiest way to reach the karni mata mandir alwar is to reach the temple via the railway network. The Temple is located at a distance of about 8 KM from the Alwar Junction Railway Station. You can also visit the temple via auto-rickshaws, taxis, state-run buses, and personal vehicles.
