Shitla Mata Ka Mandir

Beautiful Hindu temple.. people get spiritual feelings..

It is a very nice temple, here is an annual fair which is very magnificent.

» This holy Temple is related to Goddess Sheetla ( शीतला माता ).
» Sheetla mata is considered to be incarnation of Goddess Parvati ( Durga; Katyayani )
» It is nice to visit here on "Sheetlashtami" as fair is arranged here every year on this day. Thousand of worshipers visit and pray Sheetla mata to keep them away from disease { ref. Next point }.
» Sheetla mata is believed to be the goddess which keep diseases away, diseases related to skin. Google for related stories.
» On Sheetlashtami, No one makes their food at home. It doesn't mean that they go to hotels, actually it is faith that nothing hot should be eaten on this day instead food should be prepared on a day before ( i.e. Saptami ).
» Currently I don't have any pictures, but I promise to post some pics after my next visit on next Sheetlashtami.
