Wonderful architecture. Carvings are awesome. Jagdish Temple is a large temple in the middle of Udaipur in Rajasthan, just outside the royal palace.A short walk from the city palace will bring you to this temple.

Sublime ancient architecture, situated in the middle of the old city close to City Palace. It's an active temple and a good spot to observe local activity. At night, the place bustles with divinity and joy. The staircase to the temple is steep and could be challenging for old people.

It's an old architectural temple dedicated to Maha Vishnu called Jagadish meaning Master of world. It's on an elevated land very near to City Palace, you have to climb a few steps to enter into temple complex. The deity is very beautiful and divine.

This Jagdish Temple was built in 1651 and is the most famous temples in and around Udaipur. This temple is Dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple is located at middle of the city near the royal palace. The temple is very nicely preserved and the carvings are still breathtaking. One must visit this temple to get blessed 😇

Very good place to visit of lord jadish(Vishnu ji). The place is located just before city palace and is open from morning 5.30 to 2.30 and then evening 5.30 to 10 pm. The carving is very good on marble . The history of temple is given is uploaded photos. The lanes are very narrow and congested.

It's a very beautiful temple with great history.
We visited in the morning and it was very peaceful inside the temple premises.
The architecture of the temple is marvelous.
The hawkers sitting on the stairs of the temple are very rude. Firstly they shouldn't sit there and if you tell them they start arguing. Definitely tourists would not like this kind of experience.!

This temple has such a beautiful architecture. You get spiritual vibes upon entering into the main premises where Lord Jagdish is adorning it. We were lucky to be part of morning aarti, which was such a soothing and relaxing experience. One thing to keep in mind for the old people that the main entrance has a very steep stairways, so make your entry from the backdoor, which has an easy access to the temple.

Temple is good and very old. It is beautifully carved. But need a little bit more cleanliness. Overall it's good to go in morning around 10-10:30 a.m. so that you could also enjoy nearby food cart and shopping center
