Kali Mata Mandir

It is one of the oldest temples in patiala. One must go here to take blessings. The temple is quite good and there are a lot of shops outside to buy prasad for the temple. However photography is not allowed inside the temple at few places.

Kali devi mandir is very famous in and oldest mandir in Patiala. People visit there to worship and for the peace of mind but if i share my experience,, the security is good the authorities are working soo well in tht aspect.. The area is clean, but whn i entered in the main mandir the guards where talking to each other soo loudly about anything ,, the only thing ws audible ws chlo ji age hojo,, chlo ji..tht ws quiet disturbing while paying obedience to the godesss,, the environment should be quiet and esay in such places.. They cn play some holy chanting so it cn help visitors to experience the divine experience. And gurds should follow some ethics..

To reach this Kali temple you need to search Sheera wali gate or else GPS will land you up at another Kali temple located inside a colony.

Shri Kali Devi Temple is a temple in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was built by the Maharaja of Patiala in 1936.[1] The Maharaja accepted request of Hindus to build the temple and bring the six-foot-tall statues of Maa Kali and Paawan Jyot from Bengal to Patiala. Today, the temple is situated opposite the Baradari Gardens.

The premise of the temple is neat and clean..the security guards were punctual to their work. There is no parking inside the premises, one has to park the car outside the temple only.. lot's of beggars are there outside the temple, so help them if possible.
