Gopalji Temple

This is one of the oldest temple of the TEMPLE CITY SONEPUR.
You can enjoy the view of river Mahanadi from this place.
The best festival celebrate here is Holiday, the festival of colors and Saptaha which runs for 7 days and serves prasad everyday at evening.
The best part is none of the priest of any temple will force you to pay any amount.
But during summer it's too hot, so I recommend you not to go to sonepur during Summer(From April to June).

It is the most important temple of subarnapur district for the purpose of marriage.
It is situated in the bank of river Mahanadi,side to somalei takes,and about 800 meters from bus-stand.
It is the best place for marriage purpose such as big mandap,separate kitchen, available water,non a/c big rooms....etc
