Good place for family visit “Lord Shiva” inside Nature

You can spend 2 hrs if you have just a visit plan otherwise good place for a day picnic

1. Visited on 16-May-2022 @4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
2. Rainy season is best time to visit as there will be river views in all sides.
3. Ancient temple “Lord Shiva”
4. Temple connected to T bridge Badamba
4. Surrounding with number of old trees
5. Easy accessible Mahanadi river where you can enjoy
6. Saw few rooms which was locked but not sure purpose of this room, whom to talk, how to book etc..
7. If you like nature then this the right place for you
8. Place where you can have photography

Cons
1. Parking issues as this is T shape connected bridge where all four wheelers park one side of the bridge
2. Two wheelers parked inside T shaped place
3. Bridge border less in height so be careful with kids
4. Local food seller vendors occupy the entry so chances of accidents
5. Inside temple darkness

Nice place to visit. There are many small temple near the main temple. Very spiritual place to worship lord shiva 🙏 .
Essential items are also available near by so no need to worry.
The main attraction is the 'T' shaped bridge that connect the temple from both sides.
There is no parking space for vehicles so it is basically 1st come 1st park .

Blissful environment, scenic view and Singhanath temple; a combination that a person really wants to enjoy. From the peak of the mountain great view can be observed. A must visit place.

Nice place to visit. In a day you can visit all three temples (i.e. Singh nath, Baidya nath and Ram nath temple). All three temple known as golden triangle. As per the tales heard from people this temple is created by Lord Laxman Ji.

A small island situated in the River Mahanadi. Due to T bridge traveling to the temple is more convenient.

Shri Bali Singhanath Temple is dedicated to Shiva who is worshipped by Narasimha, an avatar of Vishnu. The temple has a rekha deula and terraced roof jagamohana of traditional phase of temple style of Kalingan order. The temple is unique for its sculptural embellishment of both the Saivaite and Vaishnava sects. It is located in the Gopinathpur village, Baramba tehsil of Cuttack district. It can be easily approached by road from Cuttack, Chaudwar and Athgarh. The garbhagriha has a Shivalinga with yonipatta attached to earth. The temple is of Panchayatana style practised by Adi Shankara. Temples dedicated to Vishnu, Ganesh, Surya and Mahishamardini are found around the temple. The temple represents early development of Pancharatha Deula of Kalinga Architecture. On the basis of survey, the temple can be assigned to early 9th century AD.Maha Shivratri, Makar Sankranti, Dussehra, Kartik Purnima are mostly famous festivals here. People who do Upanayana and Marriage also prefer this place as a nice option.
