Very useful for people around this place,it's a historical pond of sambalpur ,it is said that great freedom fighter of sambalpur veer Surendra said used to wash his weapons here so that name came as "katar" means sword and "dhua" means to wash . Government has to do something to preserve this historical pond and keep it clean.
