Love this place. You will get a peaceful atmosphere and a serene environment here. The morning Aarti of Lord Shiva is worth watching. The pond is also neat and clean.
On special nights, they light the temple pond with decorative lights which add to the beauty. They have renovated the temple now and added new flooring these days.
They have a very big statue of Lord Ganesha in the temple. There is a temple of Lord Shiva which is having the usual Ganesha, Kartikeya and Parbati statues by its side. The parbati temple is also a big space to sit and meditate.
They do not allow to light diyas inside the temple. There is a special stand for diyas outside the temple but inside the compound by the pond. During Shiv Ratri and other such days 2 Big Diyas are placed at the Temple entry. People can add ghee inside the diya and it keeps on lighting for days along.
After the Shiv Ratri day a big Viswa Shanti Maha-Yagyan is organised for 4 days. On these days free Prasad is distributed to the people after the end of the Yagyan. The food is cooked inside the Temple Kitchen. They have special sitting arrangement for the above feast.
The place outside the temple has some stalls to buy Diyas, Coconut, Prasad and other essentials for the purpose of puja. You can buy these things here.
You can also perform pujas for your vehicles here.
All in all this is a very good place for pujas.

It is a beautiful old Shiv temple located within the Baramunda village. All festivals of Lord Mahadev are celebrated here with congregation of devotees. The temple has been recently given a face lift and provided with covered halls for public gatherings for attending different rituals. The temple pond has been also cleaned and water quality improvements have been made.
