This is one of the finest temples of odisha which is said to be the model on which the famous Konark temple was built. This is dedicated to Goddess Gangeswari, where the kings of Ganga dynasty used to worship. It was probably built by Narasimha Deva who is famed to have built the Konark temple. Unfortunately it is left in a precarious condition without proper care and maintenance. It shows the foolishness of the govt.authorities who are in charge of its maintenance. For its preservation it should be handed over to ASI.

An unique temple where goddess Maa Gangeswari, the estha debati of our village is being worshipped. The temple is famous as mini konark as it was constructed before construction of the sun temple at konark and the architecture of both the temple are almost same.
