Maa Barunei Temple

At last Bhubneswar has a small but awesome trekking place. A small hill worth the hike for people with a nack of cardio plus the nature. A small trail amongst little forest to the hill top is an experience you will surely try a couple of times. Advise is to wear comfortable sports shoes and carry water and snacks if you plan to spend some time on the top.

Nice temple on top of a small hill, it's a good place for picnic with family and friends. Very calm place to relax and nice greenery.

Great place .... Not preferable to visit during monsoons .... But an epic place where two godesses are worshiped together ..... As there are only few temples in India where two godess es are worshiped together.

Maa barunei temple is a Hindu Religion temple. It is saty in barunei hill. Barunei hill is a small hill in khorda district. if you want to visit temple then Approximately 200 steps has to be crossed.
Spring water flows down from the hill all year round.
A cave is located on the hill.
A reservoir called Sitakunda is located on top of the hill.
A popular tourist place in khorda District. Currently Orissa government has made it very beautiful.
Anyone can visit here with friends or family.
Indian soldiers have a training camp here every year for several days. It is just 600 meters from the state highway.

A fair is held here for three days during Rajo Sankranti.
A large number of people visit this temple throughout the year.
From December to February there are feasts to mark the new year.
Rooms are available for rent here for marriage ceremonies.
Odisha government has set up a police outpost here to ensure that no one gets into trouble.

Nice place yo visit near Bhubaneswar. If you are fit enough you can try to climb the mountain near the temple. If you did so the view will be awesome. Please avoid visiting at rainy season. And have things before going for the trekking.
Sone time police may restrict you for climbing the mountain, but most of the time its open

This temple is in Khordha, 2 -3 kms from the NH.
Present at top of a hill named Barunei Hill.
Many tourists come here to visit. Best picnic spot. Road is new and so neat and clean roadways with both side greenery. Best natural view, photography will be at its best here 👍🏻

Stairs are there to climb on the top of the hill. Parking place is available at the bottom with other facilities. S children park is also there at the bottom of the hill.
