Maa Ugratara Temple

A holy and divine place surrounded by 12 mountains. The temple is very old but nicely maintained. Maa Ugratara is very much alive. If you call with full eternity, she will reply back with your wishes fulfilled. Please pay a visit with your family and friends to feel the lively ness of the godess.

This is a beautiful devi temple 🙏🏻 with some side temples like shiva temple 🙏🏻 with a small park near it.

Hardly an hour ride from Bhubaneswar. This temple is one of the famous Shakti peethas in India. Well maintained by the staffs and temple administration. A variety of Pujas, Homas are done here on daily basis by devotees. Fish fry with rice is served here as Prasad. Parking space available near the entrance. Drinking water facility is available near the main temple. Gets crowded on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
Jay Maa Ugratara

It is a Great Temple of Ma Ugra-Tara . It is almost 700-800 Meter away from Bhusandpur Railway Station. If someone plans to come Mangalajodi, he / she may come through this place also. It well reputed place in Orissa and nearby. Normally, it is crowded and more in Winter Season when a lots of Groups and Families come here for Picnic. A must visit place when someone comes to Mangalajodi.

The temple is just 3 km inside to the National Highway. Car / 4 wheeler entry fees will be 30 rupees. Temple surrounding is such a beautiful environment. At the entrance of the temple you can notice a big garden with beautiful small and big trees inside it. Just a small walk and you can view the main temple. Puja related things you can get inside the temple.
You can wash your hands and legs and take the blessings of maa by going inside the temple. In our visit we were blessed to go visit inside the main temple and take the blessings of MAA.

Temple walls were painted with god's drawing. Also there is children mini park available inside the temple premises.
Overall it was such a nice feeling.

Good template . As this temple is nearby to my place so I had visited this places few times. This place was good earlier as we used to feel the atmospheric inside the jungle. But I visited today and looking at all the building and construction it seems this place is getting commercialized. Development is necessary as more numbers of tourist visiting this place but I believe local authorities should take care for natural surrounding rather concert constructions.
