One of the must to visit place ☺️. This is temple of Goddess Dhakulei. Temple is situated in between Bhubaneswar & Cuttack National Highway NH5. You can see a big concrete gate of the temple on NH.
Neat and Clean place. Away from Main Road so it has a very calm surrounding. Fully Greenery near the temple. Best place for get together.
*Note Temple remains closed in between 12 Noon to evening 5 pm. So visit here in the morning or evening time.

When you go from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar, at Pratanagari just beside Puri main canal at the right side of NH you saw a big and beautiful concrete gate. That is the way to famous Maa Dhakulai pitha. About a km on that road you reach the temple. The temple is situated at a nice peace ful place by the side of canal and other side the kuakhai river There is big and beautiful Durga idol at the entrance of gate. The temple is not that big but beautiful. Maa Dhakulai is the main idol of the temple. Puja items and Prasad available in side the temple in a corner There are ample place inside and outside of the temple. By the side of the temple there is a Mandap ànd few shops attached to it. You can book the mandap for any function and ceremony. Nonveg items are also permitted in the mandap attached to the temple. Ample parking space is available beside the temple. A nice place to visit. A Jain temple with a nice garden is just 200 metre away please do visit that place also when you are there.
