The place is calm, serene, and enough to house 300 people. Parking can be done outside, but there is barely shed except the trees. Only one bad thing about this place is sometimes it smells very bad due to the drains.

Lunch can be arranged alongside the seating hall. There is a havan kund for carrying out rituals.

The most important thing is how to reach the temple. There is a wide road connecting the temple to the Barabati Stadium, so anybody coming from out of Cuttack need not worry about narrow lanes.

The jewel of this millennium city.
Maa Gada Chandi Temple In the judicial capital of Odisha is an antiquated sanctuary committed to the Goddess Chandi, the managing divinity of Cuttack, Odisha.
The sanctuary is found close by the banks of the Mahanadi River.

One of the must visit temples if you are visiting eastern part of Orissa. Located in ancient capital of Odisha i.e Cuttack. Peace and calmness with blessings of Maa Chandi (Goddess Chandi) is what you can expect. Temple Popularly also known by Kataka Chandi Temple.

One thing to take care of - no direct pictures allowed for Maa Chandi !!!!

one of the oldest temple of Cuttack, carries both historical n devotional relevance. pretty clean, spacious in good location having a good parking area. All types of rituals n contemporary pujas are done here along with personal functions like- marriage, thread ceremony, engagement, birthday..etc.
