This temple is small but very enchanting and beautiful. It is located at Bishnupur ward no.5 near the Thongjaorok bridge. This temple is a Vaishnav Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu God Jagannath.Since long time ago, the villagers used to worship the God Jagannath by offering some sort of things such as foods and vegetables that they have and grow on their own land for the blessings and prosperous of the village. The temple is maintained and operated by the group of clergy which is usually Vaishnav Brahmins. The temple is an important pilgrimage destination and it's famous for the annual festival of Ratha Jatra or Holi festival which is usually held in the last week of Feb or March that last for 5 days. The idol or image of Jagannath is made up of wood and decorated with bronze. So all the villagers took a very important responsibility and dedication inorder to keep the temple safe and secure..
