Very well maintained historic temple. The surrounding lake adds more beauty to its infrastructure. But, the lake should be cleaned daily to maintain its beauty since devotees come here. And devotees should take some responsibilities to keep its surrounding clean. Temple has great piece of architectural work done on inner and outer sides. But some architecture is damaged. Must visit in Beed.

One of the famous temple in Beed, the temple have its own history it is bulid by chalukya Raja vikramaditya (6th) in 10 and 11th century. The architecture of the temple is so creative and innovative at that time of period but it is destroyed by afzal Khan a general of Adil Shahi dynasty. He destroys the beautiful structure the heads of portraits of godess and gods which is really so bad. But still temple have it's own Beauty it is surrounded by water which adds more beauty.their is always people comes around here. If you visiting Beed then you must have to come to kankaleshwar and experience the great piece of architecture and make your eye pleasant 🙏🏻🚩

Major ancient temple in Beed district. This is a very beautiful temple with water all around and a Shiva temple inside. Devotees who come here attain great peace and spiritual satisfaction.

The temple is a masterpiece of ancient Indian architecture surrounded by water on all sides. On the way to the temple, one has to cross a stone bridge over the water. Even in summer, the water does not run out completely. Once you visit, you feel the urge to visit this temple again. This temple is one of the places I want to visit frequently.
There is a beautiful Shivling of Lord Mahadev in the center of the temple.

Some people say that at centre of the temple underwater have a beautiful Shivling of Lord Mahadev that was seen by only 1 or 2 people in the world 🌎

Nice Temple Architecture built by the Yadava king Singhana from 1210-1247. It is situated four sides by the water (small lake) which is 84sq m in area. Must visit Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva 🙏
