Jagadeeshwara Temple

Really a spiritual and peaceful Shiv temple. Near the powai Garden or LT Company Powai. Timing 5 to 11am and 3.30 to 8 pm. Everything Arti at 6.30pm.. Today is Maha shivratra so crowded. Temple run by Chinmayanand Swami Trust.

Great building and kind people with shop, where you can buy some souvenirs. Footwear is prohibited inside, but they will take care of your shoes. Washing your foot and hands is possible in front of the temple.

Its a beautiful Temple In the midst of Corporate Powai..
There is also life size portraits and images of the journey of Swami Chinmayanad right from India's Pre Independence Period..
Also Do visit the library for some great books and Novels on Hindu culture and India.

It's a blissful experience to be there, my happy place in Mumbai. Don't forget to visit the spiritual garden.

A beautiful and tranquil temple in the panoramic campus of Chinmaya Mission’s Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Chinmaya Jagadeeswara Temple holds the faith of lakhs of visitors and devotees from all over the world as one of the most meditative and empowering temple sanctums. The top-dome of the temple is in the shape of a Shiva-Lingam. The camphor-white blazing idol of Lord Jagadeeswara sits meditatively in this beautiful hill-top temple in the periphery of the most still and serene Powai lake.

Peaceful place and very serene environment. Best place to meditate.

Temple timings are 8 am till 10 am. On Mondays timings are extended till 11 am.

Evening 6 to 7 pm.

The temple let me just be, rather than trying to take me on a tour as I'm western.
It's a very beautiful place to meditate and connect to yourself and your consciousness

Awesome temple. Just go and sit there for peace. And musto go to the Swami Chinmayananda's place located just beside the temple. That place is super awesome.
