Waghoba Temple

While going towards Palghar via Manor from NH - 8, you can find this Beautiful place, while passing the Ghat Section, no need to trek or climb to reach here just park vehicle and enjoy this amazing water fall. on top of this Ghat a small temple of Waghoba is situated, From the side of temple there is one small trek is heading towards Kaldurg Fort, on hill top there is small man made structure which may be used as a watch post during Shivaji rule. while passing from this way people surely visit this place. huge number of monkeys are staying around, people's like to feed them, this monkey's are mostly harmless. surrounding are really breath taking.

Just try to carry your food with you as there is not any food outlet over here, except one small shop near Waghoba temple but here you can just find light snacks and Water.

Best time to visit : in Monsoon.

Starting point for Kaaldurg Trek. Lot of monkeys will welcome you. Carry biscuits to feed them. 2 Waterfalls are just 5 minutes from here.

Best place to take some time. Nice and calm temple except for the traffic noise. You can find hundreds of monkeys here so beware and dont offer them food or else all others may attack you for more food.

It's temple of God Vaghoba which is worshipped by Adivasi Community from the villages surrounding the Vagoba Mandir. Adivasi community worships Gods of nature like Tiger, Monkey etc. There is beautiful waterfall near this temple towards Manor side road. In monsoon many people visit this waterfall and enjoy the monsoon atmosphere. Every vehicle passing through this road which is known as 'VAGHOBAKHIND' stops at the Temple and the driver prays to God Vaghoba and gives coconut which is broken on Stone kept there and half coconut is given to god and half coconut is taken as Prasad. There are lots of Monkeys here. There is a trekking way to Kaldurg Fort from here. There is provision of bore well pump water here. Previously there was a Police Chowki here when at nights robberies were taking place at this place. The place is serene, calm and full of peace. The place is best suited for meditation. Beautiful Location.

Temple is ok..but outside you will find a lot of monkeys..You can buy bananas from a shop near by and feed them..Its fun and peaceful to do it..we throughly enjoyed feeding the monkeys.

Small temple situated on the ghat of Palghar Manor road. There is a beautiful waterfall ahead of the temple which can be seen only during monsoon season only.
