This is one of the oldest but nicely maintained temple ( in central India) of Lord Kartikeya and Lord Ganesha. This temple was established in 1874 and was used in olden days by pilgrims as shelter home when they travel from Chennai to Kasi ( Varanasi). Now it is managed by "Shri Subramanyam Devasthanam Trust- Nagpur". The trust- temple has around 500 life members and scores of devotees. Divine marriage of Lord Shri Subramanyam with his consorts Devis Valli and Daivayani is performed annually with all pomp and show- in the Hindu month of Kartik. On this occassion festive lunch is organised for all the devotees.
