Nice place to visit in Osmanabad... Its a Temple of Goddess Hathalai and famous for its uniqueness. The Temple do not have Roof on it because it is said that no one can construct the roof here. Whenever someone had tried to construct the Roof it had fallen down by some reasons all the times,hence now also the temple is without the roof.
The temple is located on a hill on which lots of trees have been planted and well maintained. The place becomes attraction for tourists and local people during rainy season. So whenever one visits Osmanabad,he must visit this Hathala devi Hill and Temple.

Hatlai devi temple situated at westside of osmanabad city on the bank of Osmanabad - barshi - pune road. It is surrounded by dense forests and is adjacent to the mountain ranges of the balaghat platue. There is a myth behind the goddess hatlai. during killing dharasur one hand of goddess dharasurmardini fell apart at this location.

the temple doesn't have roof and if build then it would crashes itself. Goddess idol placed on the shivling. also pilgrims found there a chintamani stone. which is used to forecast of decisions.

forest dept. of government developed this entire hill as a tourism place. yet the construction is ongoing. most of osmanabad citizens visits early morning and evening for exercise at forest dept. developed green gym.

The main temple of the goddess is situated above the hill with lot of trees. There is lot of greenary, you might get a chance to see peacocks and other wild animals and birds.
There is vehicle parking facility provided over the hill. You can get your four-wheeler up onto the hill there. They've maintained the place in very subtle way. I like the place so I visit it occasionally.
You can observe silent ponds and trees from the viewing point constructed over the hill. You can spend your time with your close once on the hill. Only the thing is you have to travel some distance to reach to this calm place, but that's worth going there.
