Excellent temple at village location. properly managed by local authority/ villagers. you get very good feeling after visiting the temple. You have to walk for around 10-15 minutes from road/parking to reach temple.

A beautiful small temple built on a single piece of giant basalt rock. A unique type of and maybe one of its kind type temple.
And the rock itself is placed in the river stream. A scenic view!

A small, unique temple of Hindu God 'Lord Shiva' built on a naturally formed, single, big rock in the middle of the river and surrounded by beautiful nature.
The temple is in the village Dugave near Ratnagiri.
Best time to visit this temple is in rainy season as you can enjoy an eye soothing greenery all around the temple area.
The temple area is very energetic, quite and peaceful.

It's a self existing (स्वयंभू) form of lord Shiva on a big rock which stands without any other support in a stream of water. There is a good story behind finding of this place. The surroundings are lush greenery with a stream of water in rainy season. The actual temple is at 200 meter walking distance from parking. The walking trail is also surrounded by greenery. It's an unique place to visit. The water stream is pretty much subject to the rainfall so right after winter, there won't be any stream. Overall the place is quite an attraction now in rainy season.
