Shree Uttareshwar Mandir

Very nice temple and surrounding is very silent and peaceful. There are many deepstambh. Temple has statue of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman and other. Must visit place if you are visiting diveagar beach. It seems temple is still im construction but you should not skip it.

Shree Uttareswar Temple is a very old temple of lord Uttareswar,lord Kal Bhairav and lord Hanuman. As per locals, this temple was built around 1200-1300 AD. Main temple was made by red stone and nice architecture of ancient time. Very recently some parts are reconstructed vy Govt. This temple is very near to diveagarh beach.

It feels like ancient temple... Uttareshwar is well worshipped god in diveagar... Temple is near beach... Everyone should visit once

This is hindu religious very ancient temple of God Shiva .

Beautiful temple of lord Hanuman, shiv ji ...this is very old temple built by Peshwa as told by a localite to us... maintained by local people it was clean and very near to the home stays ..

The Lord Shiva temple at the northern end of Diveagar is called Uttareshwar, We we’re blessed in that sense as we stayed at resort just next to the temple .

It’s been located nearly 180 km from Pune and around 170 km from Mumbai .

Inside Temple premises we can see 3 temples one is Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh and Hanuman ji.

The outer walls of purple-red stones and the tile roof appears modern but the sanctum and the ruined statutes indicate that the original temple must have been 800 hundred years old .
