Om..
Sangameshwar the two rivers Sonavi and Shastri flow together. The meaning of Sangama in Marathi (and most Indian languages) is confluence, and so the name "Sangameshwar". It is historically important as the place where Chhatrapati Sambhaji maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj was captured by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Chhatrapati Sambhaji maharaj was tortured and executed in Tulapur.

The ancient temple at the confluence of River Varna and Krishna. Believed to be made by Bhagwan Shriram. Do Visit the Panchayat mandir , built at the last wish of daughter in law of Lagoo family, and the Bhagwan Vishnu temple.
Boating across the river is reasonable.
