One of the most popular Ganesh temples in Pune. This temple is situated on Laxmi road which is one of the busiest places in the Pune. Parking could be a problem if you are coming by a car. There is a big Ganesh statue inside the temple. And it always feels nice to spend sometime here. You may find rush during aarti time as the queue stops running until aarti gets over.

Dagdusheth Halwai Ganesh temple in Pune is one of the most famous Ganesha temples in India. It was here that Lokmanya Tilak thought of celebrating the Ganesh Chaturthi festival on the scale that it is celebrated today.

A place to visit if you are in Pune. It’s swamped with Devotees during Ganesh Chathurthi. Walkable distance from two iconic historic places like The Shaniwarwada and The Lal Mahal. Right time to visit is early mornings where you can get a proper and clear view of Bappa. Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha.

Though the temple is located in the centre of the market place, once you enter the temple premises you will feel the calm. You won't be getting much time infront of the god, however once you come out of the the queue, you can stand there for a few minutes. They have also made a provision for people to do dharshan from outside.
