Bahulewadi is smallest naturelike village which is located in tala taluka( Raigad district) of kokan region. it is 72 km( 44.5 mil) away from district headquarter Alibag, 15 km (9.3 mil) away from taluka headquarter tala, and 136 km( 84.5 mil) away from Mumbai. it is nearby 6 km from Mumbai-Goa highway NH-66.
The name of village Bahulewadi which is derived from bahulai Devi. There are 2-3 small
temples in village.i.e. Hanuman temple, Bahulai temple. There is one primary school and one pre- primary school( Anganwadi).
Bahulewadi is located in hilly area. The climate is generally hot-Humid, and heavy rain during mansoon season. Average summer temperature is 35°c and average winter temperature is 20°c. Regional and official language is marathi.the main festival's which is celebrated in village are Holi festival, ganpati festival, Navaratri and Dasara.
