The greatness of Udaseen is, In Ramayana, even Bhagvan SriRam is mentioned as Udaseen. Even in Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Sri Krishna talks about Udaseen in slokas 12.16 and 14.23. And many more places.
The God here is SriChandra bhagvan of Udaseen Hindu sect. And also the ashram has oldest Ram Mandir, Hanuman Mandir and an old Shiva temple.
Lord Shiva in Shiva Purana is called an Udaseen. Bhagvat Maha puran also talks of the Udaseen aspect of God.
This Udaseen is the oldest group of Saints and even Gods have walked this path. Really great to still have Such Great Saints in this Kaliyuga.
The ashram was first founded in the 16th century by HH SRI SRI 108 BABA NAANKU DAS UDASEEN. He then gave it to his disciple HH SRI SRI 108 BABA MISHRILAL UDASEEN, who passed away in 1743. Many Saints have graced it ever since.
Right now the ashram is blessed by HH SRI SRI 1008 YOGIRAJ BABA BALYOGI PURANDAS JI UDASEEN and headed by his disciple, a young Yogi and Scholar Sri Sri 108 Mahant Sri Ramdas Purandas Udaseen Babaji.
