Very nice place, here you can see the real art of sculptures, full of peace and natures beauty. In this place there are many small temples wich is reconstructed and devoted to lord Shiva here you can find many shivling's (शिवलिंग).
I recommend, if you are going there first time go there in rainy season.

Excellent place. We must be thankful to our Padma sri KK Mohammad sir an archeologist who reconstructed these temples that to with the help of decoits. It's just 50km from Gwalior city. One can hire car. But approach road is not good. Still construction is going on. Till now 75 temples restored. But worth seeing. Don't miss. Incredible India.

A 9th century complex of 203 temples between Morena and Gwalior. All completely destroyed. About 80 odd of which have been re-erected to their original grandeur under guidance and supervision Mr KK Muhammad of ASI. We must be obliged to him for his incessant quest to bring such forgotten and hitherto unknown and invaluable heritage back to its glory. Must visit place less than 30km from Gwalior.

A true marvel, situated near Morena town, it's a cluster of about 200 temples dating back to 8th century. The place is almost rubble but ASI is in the process of restoring the place. It's in the middle of nowhere, so there are no shops or people around. Also, being an unpopular destination, it's most likely that there will be just you alone when you visit there. As such we didn't feel any safety issues. However, considering that there's nothing nearby and even mobile networks barely work in the whole area, it's better to visit in the morning only. Also, I'd highly recommend downloading offline maps of the whole area before going there, so you can find your way out. Proper parking area is there with public washrooms.

It is around 35 km away from Gwalior rail station. It can be developped as a popular tourist spot. Excavation is still in progress. The group of temples already excavated and renovated have beautiful sculptures carved on stones.

Beautiful groups of temples are situated near Gwalior and are known as the bateshwar mandir. These temples come under an archaeological survey of India.
I have visited this place on 26th Feb 2022.
The distance from Gwalior is 34kms by road.
We visited the site on two wheeler from gwalior. We started from gwalior in the morning around 8:20 am and we reached bateshwar around 9:10 am.
There was only one patch of road after shanichara mandir which was a little bumpy else the road is fine. So if you are travelling from gwalior to bateshwar you can take the route to airport road following the shanichara mandir road you will reach the place in 50 minutes. We took the same route and reached the temple within 50 minutes.
Bateshwar Temple is a worth visiting one, such a clean campus of the temple. Beautifully constructed and maintained a small group of temples looks amazingly incredible. Still, construction work is going on there but you can visit and have a darshan of bateshwar temple which dedicate to shiva and Vishnu.
The place and surroundings are so relaxed and peaceful. Temple have two small water kund, from where you can fill the bucket and use the water to offer on shivling.
Beautiful place in Madhya Pradesh and a must-visit.
