The famous place in jabalpur for all the devotees of lord Shiva. Calm, peace, scenic and epic are the words will rightly describe the temple. Evening and Morning time are the best to experience the spiritual atmosphere. The gardens are well maintained and 12 jyotirlinga under the shiva statue during these time is a must visit.

The statue measured around 76 feet tall equivalent to 23 meters, build under the open-sky on the cavern which has the replicas of the lingam called the “Jyotirlinga”. There is about 12 Jyotirlinga in the caverns on which the Lord Shiva’s idol is built. These 12 Lingam has been collected from various shrines of Lord Shiva throughout the country.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh is the Kachnar City Shiva Temple, a magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple features the tallest statue of Lord Shiva and is a must-visit if you are a Lord Shiva devotee and a fan of Indian architecture.

The Kachnar City Shiva Temple was built in the year 2004 and was open to devotees from 15th February 2006. The main attraction of the temple is the statue of Lord Shiva, which measures around 76 ft. (23 meters) in height and sits under the open sky in the cavern which has replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas that have been collected from the various shrines of Lord Shiva around the country.

The temple is also surrounded by lush green trees, which adds to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the site.

The Kachnar City Shiva Temple is a popular destination for pilgrims and tourists alike and is particularly busy during the festival of Mahashivaratri, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. During this festival, the temple is lit up with thousands of lights, and the surrounding area is filled with music and dance. Visitors can also participate in the puja (prayers) and offerings to Lord Shiva during the festival.

A magnificent temple like shouldn’t be missed by anyone visiting Jabalpur. The beautiful architecture, intricate carvings, and stunning aura of the statue make it a truly awe-inspiring sight, while the peaceful and serene atmosphere around the temple and its surrounding gardens make it a perfect place to spend a few hours in quiet reflection.

If you’re in Jabalpur, be sure to visit the Kachnar City Shiva Temple and experience the beauty and spirituality of this magnificent temple!

The tallest monument of Lord Shiva, which was built in 2004 and opened to the public, tourists, and devotees on February 15, 2006, has made Kachnar City a popular tourist destination and religious destination for both residents and visitors from other countries. The monument, which was 23 metres tall or 76 feet tall, was constructed inside a cavern that also houses replicas of Shiva Lingams, or "Jyotirlingas," under the open sky. About 12 Jyotirlinga can be found in the caverns where Lord Shiva's statue is housed. These 12 Lingam were gathered from various Lord Shiva shrines around the nation.
