Really unique architecture, said to be the inspiration for the Indian Parliament building. Drove down from Gwalior via the airport and I must say did not find any stretch of bad roads anywhere, unlike earlier reviews. There were several roads which seemed to be newly laid under PMGSY. There is a parking area at the base of the hill from where you climb up, and there is also a properly built up public toilet there now (not a portaloo).

There are a good number of stairs but they are mostly not steep and a reasonably fit person can climb all the way up within 5 minutes though there is no shade so best to do it when it's not too sunny/hot.

The temple is still an active place of worship so please ensure to take your shoes off when you enter the temple building at the top.

Quite and calm place on a small hill top. Best time to visit would be winters and rains. Well connected from from main road.

This temple is located in Mitavali near Chambal valley and 24km from Bateswar Temple complex. Approach road is not good. It is situated on the top of small hill. We have to climb the hill. Approximately 200 steep and narrow steps are there to reach the temple. The temple looks like our Parlament building. One of worth visiting place.

There is a climb of about a 100 steps. But the payout on top of the hill is really good. The place is a temple which forms the basis of design of the current parliament building.

It is a beautiful location in the chambal valley of Mitaoli on the outskirts of Gwalior city at a drive of about 30 kilometers and about 3 kilometres from Bateshwar temple premises. You have to climb about 100 steps and what you get to see on the top is the best view you would ever have. People usually visit the place for a day's picnic. Its design was taken as an inspiration for the parliament in delhi. Its worth visiting. You find peace and extreme happiness in this place.
