This temple is located on a steep hillside, on the top of the mountain. Lord Hanuman temple has a natural spring running over his statue. It is believed that this spring was made by Lord Ram as he shot an arrow to calm down fire of Lord Hanuman's tail. One can reach up to the mountain through stairs or ropeway.

Great place. Well maintained. New facility to reach the Hanuman dhara in the form of a ropeway. It costs Rs 150/- per person for the entire ride and back.

It is a religious place. And the miracle of continuous flowing water is amazing. You have to go there by either by high stairs or by rented cars available there or by ropeway. You'll get tired af if you'll go by stairs and get little market in between. Best adventurous way is to go by car. The road is amazing not too hilly but you'll get beautiful sights on the way and one you reach there.
Above that Hanuman dhara you have to climb to sita rasoi which is quite more higher than Hanuman dhara. Must visit place in Chitrakoot.

I loved the place and loved the experience of climbing 750+ stairs... View from the top is amazing... You will feel a different energy there... Must visit place if you have a plan for Chitrakoot

Rope way was not available when we visited. But Bolero is available, a bit costly than Rope way. Too many monkeys disturb your walking on stairs as they try to snatch particularly food stuff from your possession,so be attentive. When we visited long time ago, dhara was falling on Hanuman ji, but now not giving that look. Still,a worth visiting place. Senior citizens must avoid stairs as they are very steep.

Spiritual place on uphills where an small water stream is coming out

Two method are available
One is via stairs (around 500)
Which is time taking and takes around 30 minutes.

Second one is by ropeway which costs 145 for single person and offers birdeye view in middle of the way.

Temple is small but scenic specially in monsoon and winters

Nice place to visit using cable car. The temple is located in the hilly areas with water gushing out over the Hanuman idol. The water collected in the pond outside the temple is good for drinking. You can also climb up and down the hill using stairs available. Also, be aware of the Langoors ( monkey ) on the stairs while descending from the stairs.

This temple is situated in between mountains and to reach here 300- 400 steps are needed and Ropeway is also carry you to get that point. To visit this temple 15 to 20 ascending steps are taken and temple is very neat and clean. Here parking of every vehicle is available. In between way to temple monkey are there so be careful when you carry Prasad or any eatable items...Thank you very much...🙂🙂🙂
