Shri krishna janm ashtami is celebrated here in a very innovative way over a period of three days. Shri Suresh soni is president of this organization. I attended last day of celebration in August 2017 and felt like superb here.

A very old Temple of Shri Ram Darbar known as Purana Ram Mandir . It is one of the most visited temples in the city, situated at the heart of Balaghat Town which is also the main market. Cultural programs are organised through out the year on special occasions.
