A very ancient photogenic temple on the top of Mandhata island in the middle of Narmada river at Omkareshwar. thetemple dates back to several century amking it a heritage spot which is now maintained by Archaeological Survey of India. It is said that the temple and the shivalingam is even older than that of the jyotirlinga who is locate down hill, A must visit site and very calm and quiet place ideal for meditation.

Very ancient temple built by Pandavas, now in a dilapidated state. We can see invaders and miscreants having beheaded many of the intricate sculptures here without a thought to the skillful sculptor who would have dedicated years to create them so beautifully. You can see the hands and feet and they are close to real. We Indians can openly challenge the rest of the world to show any art work that even comes closer to this form of art. A lovely place for the connoisseurs of art.

A classical  representation of the Brahmic architecture, Siddhantha temple is a major tourist attraction. The frescoes of elephants are the most important attraction of the temple. These frescoes of the elephants are carved over stone 1.5 m in height. Looking up to the roof of the caves showcases artistic magic. It is located on top of the island, 200m northeast of Omkar Mandhata Temple with approximately 170 steps cutting upside the hill. Accessible on all days of the week, it is a must visit for the religiously inclined, nature lovers and photo fanatics, with atleast a 2 hour visit to enjoy the beauty.

Must visit place if yu are going to omakareshwar. It has an awesome 'pandava temple' from 11th century situated on top of the hill. One would need to climb atleast 60+stairs to reach here and worth it!!

Very Old and historical temple located on the top of the mountain. You will also find the historical architecture and great view on the top of the mountain. Sanskrit shlok encraved on the stones. And also be careful of wild monkeys. Overall good place to visit during onkareshvar journey.

Beautiful temple requires authorities attention and maintenance, else centuries old heritage will vanish with passing time. Beautiful crafting, architecture's astonishing work piece...surrounded by greenery, one can enjoy ancestor's work with nature's beauty.

Siddhanath Temple is the most charismatic architectural beauty of the town. It is a preserved ancient structure which is situated on the Mandhata island. This temple was attacked by Mahmud of Ghazni but it still stands tall symbolizing its strength.

The detailed carvings on the pillars and walls of the temple represent its spiritual value & rich architecture. With its unique architectural beauty, it is counted among the major Omkareshwar tourist places.

It is on the route of Omkareshwar Mahadev Parikrama Marg.
