Teli ka Mandir is a beautiful temple with amazing and detailed architecture. Unfortunately the it is not well maintained the surroundings are also not very clean. Inside the temple there is foul smell of bat poop. I would recommend to visit the temple for the architecture.

An architectural marvel, the temple draws its architecture from southern India but located in Central India. This is located near the Gwalior Fort on Gopachal Parvat.

The Teli Ka Mandir in Gwalior is a fascinating example of Hindu architecture and a must-visit for anyone interested in Indian history and culture. This temple is believed to have been built in the 8th or 9th century and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

What sets this temple apart is its unique architecture, which is a blend of North Indian and South Indian styles. The temple is adorned with intricate carvings, which are some of the finest examples of Indian art.

Visitors to the Teli Ka Mandir will be struck by the sheer size of the temple and the towering gopuram, which is the tallest structure in the temple complex. The interiors of the temple are equally impressive, with beautiful carvings of deities, animals, and mythological creatures.

The temple is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer any questions visitors

It's one of those Templez which has got architectural design philophy of both North Indian and Dravidian style.

It looks very massive. It's almost 15 mins walk from Gwalior fort. You can avail local electric rickshaw (could be costly), or if you have vehicle then there are ample space for parking.

The sculptures on the temple are very beautiful and you can see how skillful the sculptures were.

You won't find that much of crowd here but to get some good photos try visiting in the evening.

The ticket bought at Main entrance of Gwalior fort works here to so no need to pay separately.

I am sharing some pics from my tour. ENJOY !!!
