It is a very nice temple in the beautyfull village of kavassery . kavassery pooram is a famous festival celibrated in ths temple.on that occation three desam namely kavassery ,kazhini and vavilyapuram arange a grand fir works .the fire works in ths place are known to be the largest day time fireworks in the world

Temple has a lot of protected area as forest. From the main road it's about 200 meters inside with lots of trees. One side of the temple has huge farm land where fire works happens during the festive season during March April. Fireworks and festival are organised by 3 Desams (region) Kazhani, Vavulliapuram and Kavassery

Very pious and beautiful ancient temple. Powerful diety. Well maintained and festivals are celebrated in a grand manner. It is a family diety for so many families from some many decades back ancestors.

This temple is like heaven. Very Peaceful and devotional, Satisfaction and Happiness are overloaded once you get blessings from Bhagavathy amma.
Don't forget to get Payasam prasadam by paying ₹100 at office room.

Beautiful, traditional temple in Kavassery village, near Alathur. It is a divine feeling to experience the rituals in this temple, in front of the holy Bhagavathy Amman. The surrounding forests and pond are also a great place to reflect.

Tip: Don’t forget to bring a container! For a small fee, you can experience the inner sanctum of the temple AND fill you container with delicious payasam!

Pparakkat Sree bhagavathy temple, it is in alathur, Kerala. Just 3 km from alathur bus stand. Or if you coming by auto, near NH, they will cost you around 100 rs. We travelled here in Sunday. Which almost all the buses are not running. Don't go for any places in Kerala in Sunday, if you are travelling in bus. And back side there will be small pond which gives you good and clam ambience. Before going get a small container for payasam. Which is very nice. And temple is surrounded by lot of trees, which give good environment for the visitors.
