Thiruvannur Sree Mahadeva Kshethram

This is an ancient Lord Shiva temple with traditional architecture style. There are deities of Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, Lord Ayappa and Lord Parashurama. It has a small pond attached to it. It is located near to erstwhile Thiruvannur Kovilakam (residents of princely order of Zamorins of Calicut)

Thiruvannur Sree Mahadev temple belongs to the Zamorin Royal family, now under administration of the family welfare society. Main diety is Mahadev in Kiratha posture, idol believed to have been installed by Sage Parasuraman is facing west.
Adjacent to it on north is the temple of Lord Krishna, also facing west.
Sub dieties in the temple are Dharma Sastha, Serpant God, Parasuraman, kshethra palan etc.
There's a Ganapathy idol installed inside the nalambalam of Shiva temple, it's facing north. North facing Ganapathy idol is seldom seen in other places. Main offering is Otta for fulfillment of desires destroying hindrances. It is done in the morning except on 1st Friday of Malayalam month when it's done in the evening.
Details of offerings, cost etc can be found from from the counter situated on the west side of the temple.
