This is a place of pilgrimage. Sree Durga is the leading diety of this temple. Lord Siva, Ganesa, Murukan, Snake Gods, Ayyappan etc are sub dieties of this temple. Very calm and cool place of worship.

It is one of the famous temple in kollam. Every year the biggest festival ongoing there in the month of Feb-Mar. It is one of the biggest festival in kollam.

Good place to worship.This is a Durga Devi temple situated in the western part of uliyakovil.The temple is famous for its festival which occurs from Feb -Mar every year.We can see huge and colourful light decorations and also mega events done by famous professionals.

Right now the temple is under renovation.
But dear spiritual seekers, this temple can offer you a great tranquility, a calm Vibe and a serene atmosphere, to offer your Poojas to the deity.

There is a story behind the deity of the temple.
Once a Brahmin who lost his way in the sea, requested Devi for help and he was properly guided to a safe zone by the rural Goddess here. At that time the place where the temple stood was a dense forest, and it is the Brahmin who started worshipping here as an obeisance to mother goddess and eventually the temple developed to the form that we can see today.

Later due to regional issues, the temple was kept closed for many years following the verdict of the district court. And now people have highly united for the development of the temple and great festivals are being conducted even today.

Uliyakovil sree durga devi temple is famous for its festival. Its the last bus stop 🚏🚌in Uliyakovil bus route. Have a large temple ground in front. The temple arch is huge. U can conduct small marriage in this temple, there is a small sadhyalayam also along. Now the temple is undergoing renowation or construction🚧 but is still open for workship.

This temple is situates in the western part of Uliyakovil. The temple is over 150 years old. The famous temple utsav takes place in the month of February and spans for 10 days. The fact that the utsav was rebooted after being banned for over 40+ yeaslrs add more to the glory. Many people from all over Kerala comes to visit the temple during this period.
The idol worshiped here is Vana Durga.
This temple is currently under the governorship of NSS.
The temple is situated in a serene environment with a beautiful groove in it's premise where the snake lords are worshiped.
