Famous temple in Kannur town. As per legends it more than 700years old. The presiding Deity is Sri Kamakshiamman as Santhaswaroopini roopam. Other deities worshipped are, RUDRATHANDAVA MOORTHY, GURU, ASWATHA NAGA VINAYAKAR (Naga prathista along with Vinayakar behind the banyan (Aswatha) tree), UCHUMA KALI, DURGA (RAHU) SRI BALA SUBRAMANIYA. Walkable distance from Kannur railway station and easily accessible by road.
