Sree Kamburath Bhagavathi Temple

One of the famous temple among the people of calicut. Kamburath kshethra maholsavam is well celebrated every year. This temple is situated almost 7 km from city and ambience is very cool.

This is a very famous Hindu temple of this area. The Temple is over crowded with devotees during festival celebrated for s week in February- March every year.

Every year on the last Sunday and Monday of Februvary, the festival take place.I have been going there for the past 15 years and I have not still felt bored.

Sree kampurath bagavathi temple is one of the Famous temple in Kozhikode district. There is 2 days Ulsavam (Sunday & Monday). First day Ulsavam for the relatives and friends of the native people, second day Ulsavam for the native people.The "Kanalattam" is one of the major and famous program in the ulsavam which is done with the burning coal of jackfruit tree. The "Kalashamkettu" is also a very famous program in kampurath bhagavathi temple.
