One of the oldest Siva temple of Kerala. The speciality of the temple is there is no other idols other than Lord Shiva. According to the myth, the moorthi is known as Dakshayani Vallabha. Moorthi is in mediational bhava after the death of Goddess Sathi. There is 4 rudra prathishtas in each corner of the temple.

A historic Shiva temple located at Sringapuram (near to Boys higher secondary school) in Kodungallur. Very calm peaceful atmosphere to pray.Best time to visit is in the evening between six and seven pm when you can witness the evening pooja and deeparathana as well. Not much crowded usually except on pradosham days.
